With the low snowpack this winter in Park City, it already feels like we’re turning our attention toward spring—and honestly, I’m here for it. I love photographing Spring Sessions in Park City. Longer days, softer light, and the first hints of green make spring such a beautiful season for family photos in the mountains.
This Park City spring family photo session was especially sweet. This adorable family traveled from California to celebrate their little one turning one, and they did it in the best way possible—by bringing their entire family. What a meaningful way to mark such a big milestone.
While the session mostly focused on their little family of four, we also captured portraits with grandparents and extended family. First birthdays are such a fleeting season, and having everyone together made the celebration feel even more special. There’s something incredibly powerful about photographing multiple generations in one place—images that become part of a family’s story for years to come.
Spring in Park City is often overlooked, but it is so beautiful. The crowds are quieter, the light is gentle, and the landscape feels fresh and calm. It’s the perfect backdrop for relaxed, connection-filled images—especially for families traveling in from out of state and looking to document meaningful moments together.
