If you scrolled through my blog posts long enough, you would see this beautiful family multiple times. I look forward to seeing Lexie and her family every year. She is such a fabulous stylist, and I love to see the outfits that she puts together. It would be my dream if she sent me all of their clothes when they grow out of them! (I have probably put that in every one of the blog posts of their family! 😂) Scroll back to see some more inspiration from this cute family. 2023 we did photos at Snow Basin, 2022, was at Antelope Island and we started 2020 in their home.
Family photos with little ones can seem so stressful. The kids are always doing better than you might think. Soon enough, they will get older and in my experience, photo sessions get so much easier for kids once they turn four or five. Embrace the chaos while they are little! It goes by so quickly.
What to Wear for your Fall Family Session
I always think blue is one of the best colors to choose for outfits in photos. It compliments most any background and still pairs well with neutral colors. When choosing your outfits, think about where you will display the photos. (Plus, you will want to get your new photos printed and hung up quickly if they compliment your space!) I love the fabric combination of linen, wool, corduroy, and knits. Their colors and textures make such a rich collection of fabrics.
I know so many people love fall for its leaves’ bright colors. I love fall for all of the golden warm tones in plants. Everytime that I see the blooming, yellow sagebrush, I think of Lexie! We have timed several sessions with this unique plant’s bloom. The pairing of soft yellow and subtle sage green creates such a pleasing background. I love it! When Lexie sent me the pin near Park City, I knew it was going to be beautiful!
Yellow blooming sagebrush stays beautiful until it gets covered in snow. If you are trying to find a location for November, a field of this sagebrush is such a good option.
Email me today to schedule your session in November or December.
