I get so excited when I see it’s time for the Sandberg family’s yearly fall session. It’s probably because I am a little partial to families with all boys, now that I have two sons. Another reason is because I am always in love with the outfits Lexie puts together. I want her to pass all her boys’ clothing on to mine when they grow out of them! You can’t go wrong with neutral tones and knits! They are perfect for fall. When choosing your outfits for busy little ones, make sure that they are comfortable. It will help them to relax and be themselves during the session.
Look how much her boys have grown over the years! 2019 and 2021
Not only have I seen it first hand as a photographer, but also from personal experience! As a young girl, I can still remember a photo shoot when I had to wear a very uncomfortable dress. It didn’t fit right, and you can tell from the look on my face that I hated every single one of those photos! My advice to avoid that situation: choose clothing your kids can be kids in. It is an often overlooked detail but one that makes a big difference when it comes to letting their personalities shine!
Favorite place for knits for little ones: Oat Children, Jamie Kay, and Mebie Baby
We took these photos near Snow Basin Resort and it may be my new favorite location! I love that Aspens are the last trees in the mountains to keep their leaves. I can’t get enough of their golden leaves.
I took my boys with me and they played at the playground at the resort while I shot, and then we had a little picnic when I finished. I love that I get to be in the mountains so much with my work. You can’t have a bad day in a beautiful place!
