Today this lovely Rose Wall Inspiration shoot was featured on Utah Valley Bride!!
I know there are a thousand images in this post and a lot of them are close to the same, but that’s what I do, I give you tons of images, because I can’t stop taking the photos and I can’t delete them if they are still good. I know I have a problem, and other photographers gasp when I tell them how many images my clients get… but I don’t care… I try to limit myself and then I can’t create and I can’t be moved by the light and by the moments. I love what I do and if you have ever been photographed by me in golden light, you know what I mean. I love being a photographer, I love pushing myself, I seriously can’t get enough of this earth, I am inspired by every corner of it and when I get to photograph beautiful clients in these beautiful places it takes me somewhere else. I can never have a bad day on a photo shoot, it just isn’t possible, I forget all of my cares and enjoy!
I was driving in the ghetto in Salt Lake this Spring and I saw this corner and my heart raced and my immediately butterflies hit my stomach. I had to do a shoot there before the roses died. Amber Reverie was so amazing at my last minute request and as you can see I could not stop photographing every angle of her beautiful wedding bouquet, most of the roses were locally grown and I love that. Shandlie was such a great sport with me asking her last minute and having her meet me in a very questionable area in town, but it was well worth it. I pushed myself to shoot a lot of film on the shoot and I love the bokeh that came out in these images. I could never fully give up my digital camera because it inspires me just as much as film and I love my images just as much. I am so lucky to have Tia with Celise Artistry as a good friend, I love this natural look that she did for the hair and makeup.
