Magazine and Blog Feature on Grand Weddings Jackson Hole
I am so excited to show more of this beautiful Jackson Hole wedding from last summer! I am so honored that it was chosen as a feature in The Grand Weddings Magazine and on their blog! Beautiful cover photo by Elise Sterck.
Tj and Caroline are so kind, one of my favorite things about their wedding was that we did two different engagement sessions you can view those here, aren’t they such a beautiful couple! I love getting to know couples before their wedding with an engagement session, it makes their wedding all the more sweeter!
Their Love Story
TJ and Caroline first met on November 23, 2019 at Goat Yoga. Caroline is the owner of Jackson Hole Goat Yoga. TJ’s sister Tatum convinced him to join her while they were living in Jackson Hole for the summer. When they first met, they were not looking for anything serious. They became best friends, TJ hung out at Caroline’s ranch helping with the baby goats.
They realized that it was something more when they traveling to TJ’s home in Arizona. They started dating at the beginning of March 2020, and they had to navigate a worldwide pandemic and a new relationship. They got creative with their dates, they loved exploring the beautiful Grand Tetons, they had lots of picnics by the river and in their truck while finding beautiful views!! They dated for a year and a half before getting engaged, they helped each other build their careers, they traveled, hiked, they love to cook together and love living in Jackson Hole!
The Proposal
It happened on July 1, 2021. TJ’s family flew in for the Fourth of July early for it. TJ planned an entire night at Snake River Sporting Club starting down by the river. He set up pictures from when we first started dating, had champagne opened and ready, a photographer was hiding taking photos of us, and after we poured some champagne he told me to follow him down closer by the river. We walked over past where he had everything set up and I saw a beautiful Pendleton blanket with our initials, an arch decorated in flowers, and two flower vases on each end of the arch. He first said this little speech (neither of us can remember) and then got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife! After i said yes, I heard clapping and screaming and looked over to my family, friends, and TJ’s family running from behind trees. They were all hiding. It was so thought out and planned. Afterwards, we took pictures and then celebrated at the club with dinner and drinks!
The Wedding
TJ and Caroline chose to get married on her families ranch. Willow Bend Ranch is located 20 minutes outside of Jackson Hole near Hoback Junction. The ranch has beautiful views of Beaver Mountain, Elk Ridge and the North Face of Hoback Junction. Her family spent extra time making the ranch perfect for their wedding! Rain was in the forecast for their wedding, and the clouds parted just in time for the ceremony. There was a bit of a down pour during the dinner, the rainbow at sunset made all of the rain worth it. It was such a beautiful day.
