Paris is such a beautifully, romantic city! There is so much to do and see! I planned this trip because I wanted to work on a photo project in Paris, check out my shop to see what I created! While I was there my good friend Tia happened to be there at the same time doing hair and makeup for a wedding. We got one of the bridesmaids and her husband to do a photo shoot with us, we had such a good time! I could get use to photographing couples in Paris. While I was there waiting for them, so many couples were out with their tripods trying to get a shot of themselves. I offered to do a few photos for a few of them, and it was so much fun!
When you are shooting in Paris and wanting the iconic landmarks, it is best to start at sunrise, the crowds haven’t started coming out yet, and it made it easier to get a shot without people in the background. By the time sunset hit at some of the locations you can barely move around. It was so peaceful in the morning too. I loved my walk to the Eiffel Tower, the sky was changing colors, and the streets were calm and peaceful. This spot with the view of the Eiffel Tower is Trocadero Hill and I love the view from the top!
Some of my favorite things to do in Paris are to eat all of the pastries! We ate some delicious breakfast treats at Eric Kayser’s they have lots of locations, and it was so perfect to grab a little treat and go sit in a beautiful park. I loved the Musee de l’Orangerie, it was probably one of my favorites, the Water Lilies by Monet are just amazing to see in person. After we went there we decided to go to Giverny to see Monet’s house and his garden, it was totally worth the hour and a half train ride, it was probably one of my favorite things that we did while in Paris. We just went for an afternoon, but you could spend an entire day there if you love flowers and gardens.
